Large Group Yoga Classes: 


Practicing with people can be very energizing. In a large group, we can become part of the same mind-field and we can enhance each other’s focus. Practicing in a large group can also instill a sense of community, while providing the challenge to stay within oneself amidst many people. The limitation of the large group classes is that the class has to be generalized enough so that it is safe and effective for everyone in the room. Sometimes an individual may need closer attention from the instructor and a more personalized sequence of Asanas. The large group classes that I teach can be found on my current schedule


Small Group Yoga Classes:


Small group classes are typically 3 to 6 people and are beneficial because they can provide a balance of practicing with people and getting closer attention from the instructor. With fewer people than a large class, the energetics may not be quite as dynamic and lively, but the positive tradeoff is the instuctor's microscopic attention to the subtleties of perfect form. I teach small group classes privately, either at a studio in Santa Clara or at a location of the small group's choosing anywhere between Gilroy and Sunnyvale. Pricing is negotiable. Ongoing Personal Yoga Classes:


Personal Asana classes are for one person at a time (maybe two if they are at a similar level). These classes are extremely beneficial for correcting one’s alignment in each posture. Everyone has their own unique bodily features and in the personal asana classes, these features are carefully considered. Sequences in these classes are tailored specifically for the individual. The instructor and participant can, together, find the precise edge of every pose—where the pose can be expressed most fully while adhering to perfect alignment. I teach personal asana classes at various venues. Standard pricing is $80 per session, but can be negotiated. I currently have availability for personal classes. Individual Consultations:


My decade of work as a personal trainer has taught me that when I can give my complete attention to a single person who has a relatively high level of body awareness, epiphanes happen. People regularly experience significant realizations about how to refine poses, what to be aware of while forming a posture, and ways to personalize a pose/movement so that it does not aggravate any existing ailments. The individual consultation can start someone on a journey of practicing yoga, confident that he/she will not injure themselves and confident to attend group classes in studio settings. It can also re-initiate progress to the practitioner who has plateaued. I currently have availability for consultations. Contact me to schedule your appointment.
